Fenn Shell Chair

The Fenn Shell Chair uses a broad green back and slender metal base to create a simple, continuous outline. The moulded shell curves into the seat, with rounded corners softening its rectangular shape. Below, the steel frame runs down to the floor and across the front as a footrest, leaving the sides visually open.

Glass-fibre-reinforced polypropylene forms the seat and back, while painted round-steel tubing makes up the sled base. The matching green finish connects the two materials without disguising their different shapes. A smooth shell above fine metal lines gives Fenn a lighter appearance than a fully upholstered chair with a solid lower frame.
