Coastal Slatted-Back Armchair

Coastal Slatted-Back Armchair. The Coastal Slatted Dining Armchair gives the familiar slatted chair a more graphic backrest. Broad horizontal panels sit at alternating angles, leaving narrow openings between them. Straight arms and an open lower frame balance this stepped pattern, while a gently reclined back creates a clear side profile around the dining table.

Coastal Slatted-Back Armchair details

Moulded polypropylene forms the chair, finished with a matte surface that follows the edges of the panels and arms. Baby Blue adds a quiet wash of colour beside pale timber and neutral textiles; White makes the layered back look brighter against darker furniture. Both finishes keep the same angular detail without introducing different materials.

Use Coastal as a set around a simple table or place one beside a console as occasional seating. Its broad slats supply the visual interest, so the surrounding furniture can stay fairly plain. Allow enough room for the arms when arranging chairs next to one another, and clean the surfaces with a soft damp cloth before drying them.
