Tern Cantilever Visitor Chair

The Tern Cantilever Visitor Chair combines broad grey cushions with an open metal frame. A rectangular backrest sits above a separate padded seat, while dark angular supports carry the upholstered arm pads. The polished base bends beneath the chair in a continuous cantilever shape, leaving the space behind the seat visually open.

Synthetic upholstery covers the padded surfaces, with shaped polyurethane foam and a plywood structure beneath. Reinforced polypropylene forms the back and arm supports, and the steel-tube base has an electroplated finish. These contrasting materials give Tern a defined outline from the rear as well as the front, making it easy to position away from a wall.

Use Tern as a visitor seat beside a desk or as part of a small conversation area. The grey upholstery pairs naturally with black cabinetry, pale timber and simple metal accents.
