Woven Paper-Cord Lounge Chair with Ash Arms

Woven kraft paper cord spans the seat and back of this ash lounge chair, introducing an open texture within the wooden frame. Shaped arms and angled supports outline the woven sections without hiding them. The pale cord in the reference photographs contrasts gently with the warmer wood surrounding it.

The repeated weave creates a pattern across both seating surfaces, while smooth timber rails provide a clear boundary. Its inclined back and open-sided structure are especially visible in profile. The combination of ash and paper cord gives the design a different visual character from a fully upholstered lounge chair.

The chair can bring texture to a quiet living room or reading corner with neutral fabrics and simple furniture. A plain backdrop makes the woven pattern easier to appreciate, while warm wooden accents connect with its frame. Keeping nearby accessories selective allows the cord, shaped arms and angled supports to remain distinct.
